But what if you could enjoy a warm shower anytime, anywhere—no matter how cold or damp it gets?
That’s where the Thermomate Portable Gas Water Heater comes in. Designed to tackle the UK's ever-changing weather, it’s a compact, high-performance outdoor hot water solution that ensures you stay comfortable wherever your adventure takes you.
Low Water Pressure Startup – Perfect for UK Outdoor Settings
Low water pressure is a common issue at campsites and off-grid locations across the UK. Thermomate was built with this in mind, featuring a 0.25 bar low-pressure ignition system that delivers 5 litres of hot water per minute. The water temperature can increase by up to 25°C—ideal for outdoor showers, rinsing off muddy gear, or washing your boots after a long hike.
Energy Efficient – Up to 11.5% More Efficient Than Standard Units
At the heart of the unit lies an advanced accordion-style triple-row burner that maximizes gas efficiency. Only the water you need gets heated, and the tankless, on-demand design reduces gas usage by up to 11.5%, saving you money and reducing environmental impact.
Multiple Safety Protections – Built for British Winters
Whether you’re camping in early spring or storing the unit in a cabin over the off-season, Thermomate includes built-in anti-freeze protection. It automatically drains residual water to prevent freezing damage.
Plus, it features flame-out protection and overheat protection, shutting off gas supply if the flame is accidentally extinguished or the water temperature exceeds 80°C—giving you total peace of mind with every use.
Compact & Travel-Ready – Your Ideal Camping Companion
Weighing only 4.5 kg and measuring just 34 x 29.5 x 12 cm, this LPG portable water heater is ideal for:
-
Camping in the Scottish Highlands
